Caga Tió es como el nuevo superman. Hemos inventado una capa y las máscaras de la imagen tiene más impacto.
Shit Log
This is the story of Shit Log (Caga Tió) – A Catalan tradition where you beat a wooden log to make it shit gifts at Christmas. Have a shitty Christmas.
ButiClub Canal+ Exposé
The truth about ButiClub has been revealed on French national TV.
The documentary traces it’s humble deli-bar beginnings to the food-fashion-art spectacle of today.
Take a behind scenes look at one of the greatest ButiClub events of all time. Featuring members, models and a naked buti streaker at the end!
Yorokobu Magazine
The voyage to discover a cover concept directed us upwards. We looked to the stars and found new life in the solar system. Our solar system has eight planets orbiting around the sun. Eight planets. Eight letters. Influenced by children’s mobiles and wooden toys, we captured the “Yoro System” by creating a unique sculpture.
The Hungry voyage continues …
USA Today
So far more than $7,000 has been raised, including a donation from Lionel Richie himself! Incentives include a “limited edition Vinyl Lionel head” and other wacky items. – USA Today
Cool Hunting
Judging from their cheeky Kickstarter video, the Barcelona-based creative studio Hungry Castle has a major thing for Flock of Seagulls hairdos, Tom Selleck mustaches, bright pants, popped-collar denim, plastic grandma glasses and general vamping for the camera. Such inclinations make them perfect contenders for winning the costume prize at an ’80s-themed dance party or, in this case, creating a gigantic sculpture of Lionel Richie’s head. – Cool Hunting.
Huffington Post
What do you do to honor the 30th anniversary of Motown casanova Lionel Richie’s solo career? Make Lionel bigger, obviously. Artists Dave Glass and Kill Cooper of Barcelona’s Hungry Castle are currently raising funds to build a giant sculpture of Lionel’s head out of his own vinyl. That’s right, Lionel Vinyl… need we say more? – Huffington Post.
Design Week
Public art causes no shortage of gripes. People often dismiss it as pointless, some may say a waste of money, others, in some cases, brand it ugly. Though something that can’t fail to raise a smile, surely, is a huge wooden head of Lionel Richie. Which says, of course, ‘hello’. – Design Week
Pecha Kucha Barcelona

ButiClub Interview
Bvisio, a web tv channel approached us for an interview about ButiClub asking who, what and most importantly why?!!
Watch how we dodge their questions.
Skateboard Monster
With it’s tiny wheelie eyes and white skateboard teeth, the Skateboard Monster roared into Iguapop Shop Barcelona. People screamed out hand painted profanities for the cameras whilst mixing it up with the Hungry Castle mouth.
Big scream out to Lamono Magazine and Jart Skateboards for letting us slice up 10 of your best.
The Brandery

ButiClub is making friends with fashion. Our homemade press passes allowed us to meet beautiful models, designers and personalities.

Watx&Colors
Color attack is a special stop frame animation created in collaboration with Soon in Tokyo and commissioned by Watx&Colors Barcelona.
The initial brief was to make a short film using the pop up book mechanic. We took it a little further by building the first ever popup-book-cuckoo-clock (cuckoo-pop for short).
A life without colour is just plain dull! HP knows this and so do we. Together we set up the HP Colour Lab in Madrid.
Kids of all ages came to observe, create and experiment with colour. There were lots of explosions!
This urban music festival brings some of the best alternative acts to the centre of Madrid. We developed an identity that drew inspiration from the streets. Focusing on the lettering techniques of tile street signs, we created a custom typeface and a series of transforming festival posters. After eight hours of cooking in a 1000° oven, these abstract, colorful tiles were ready to be shot.
Table for 32
What better way to celebrate our first year than by throwing the biggest intercontinental birthday lunch ever. Guests from London to LA and São Paulo to Sydney will all take part by dining out with their new pocket-sized friends (Castles are always Hungry). All we ask is that they eat well and that they don’t blink when their photos are taken.
See the photos.
This project began humbly; as a collection of quotes and words from the mouths of friends, lovers and colleagues. Born from our desire to understand a new city (Barcelona) and a strange language, it quickly grew into an exhibition consisting of illustrations, spray paint and some very strange little objects.
Pimp your MacBook with stickers guaranteed to bring you frame, fortune and sex appeal (not true, but the stickers are awesome). Stick with me baby is a special collection of stickers created with our friends Herraiz Soto. The concept grew from a desire to give people the opportunity to personify their laptops. The sets include the MacBook Bros, MacBook Mos and our newest addition the MacBook Hos. We hope you like them as much we do.
Norwegian label Ø recently invited us to create a unique identity and visual language for their new range of scarves. The result is elegant, timeless and at times a little quirky. Take a scroll through the new website.

A set of minimalist hand crafted tees, created in response to online advertising. As it turns out, spray paint and cotton is a nice combination (who would have thought?).
Mind Travel
Each year New Era invites select artists from across the globe to develop an artistic interpretation of their classic cap. This year Dave was chosen as 1 of 15 artists in Spain.
The project puts a huge emphasis on both concept and the creative journey. With two weeks from the delivery date, the pressure was on to create something that would make hats turn.
Sit back and enjoy!
ButiClub Book Launch

Fifty hand crafted butifarras and large format prints made this an unforgettable spectacle.

You’re invited!

It is with great pleasure to announce that we have sliced, stitched and stuffed fifty authentic butifarra sausages in honour of our ButiClub members.
These beautifully crafted members will be on display for all to admire at The Private Space Gallery on Friday the 8th of July.
For those of you who are unable to attend this epic event in Barcelona, please follow us at our Facebook folio.
Long live the butifarra!
Behind the scenes preview of a stop frame animation that brings together literally hundreds of found objects and characters.
Special thanks to our musically minded friends Pat (from Lost Valentinos) and Jack (from Bag Raiders) for giving the project a pulse.
(Coming very soon)
OFFF brings together studios, artists, designers and creatives from all over the world to share their experiences and latest projects. This year we were lucky to be amongst the best of the best as we presented our mildly hilarious experience in creating the first club (that we know of) dedicated to the appreciation of the butifarra sausage.
The presentation was a success and yes that is Stefan Sagmiester wearing a ButiClub badge!

Proud to present our limited collection of ButiClub tees.
Each of these elegant butifarra artifacts are individually numbered and packed with love.
We wanted to create something special for our clients & friends.
400 teeth, 80 eyes and several hand painted hours later, these playful pieces were alive and ready for battle.
Send us an email if you’d like to see one in your city (castles like to travel).
To mark the inaugural ButiClub, we created stunt double sausages from felt for the more physically demanding action sequences.
Note: No real sausages were harmed in the making of these sausages.

Behind the scenes in the creation of The Trip artwork. Thanks Killian for being such a great hand model!
Tiempo BBDO recently invited us to collaborate on the design for the new website. We like designing websites and we like eating food, so it’s seemed like a great fit.
To jump start the creative process we spent a day in the kitchen with their pastry products. These are the results (the spinach and ricotta empanada was the clear winner).
